SERVING OUR CLIENTS

SINCE 1966

Indiana Plastics, LLC. has been a family-owned company since our inception in 1966. We are proud to have built a solid reputation in the injection molding industry through a coordinated blend of several key elements: design, engineering, “in-house” mold manufacturing, efficient production, and all-encompassing service. As the decades have passed, we have built upon that reputation by strictly adhering to quality control in the constant monitoring of the molding and secondary processes we perform at our headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana. As a result of our commitment to quality, efficiency, competitive pricing, our customers have come to expect the best in the industry when doing business with us.

Since 1970, both Indiana Plastics and our sister company, Kruis Mold & Engineering, have operated at our current location in Elkhart, Indiana. The two entities function independently, but coordinate efforts often. Our ability to successfully operate two companies that each serve a different segment of the industry allows us to competitively offer a “single-source” solution for all of your injection molding needs. Our team has the experience and knowledge to be a valuable resource to your company in all facets of the development process. We have the ability to help your company take a product from its idea stage, through its design stage, and all of the way through its production and secondary stages.

By the end of the decade, automotive accounted for roughly 50% of the company’s revenue. Indiana Plastics thrives in the high-quality, close-tolerance molding that is necessary for automotive manufacturing because of our success with the zero parts-per-million reject rates that the automotive industry expects.

2000's - Continued Growth and Diversification

At present, Indiana Plastics has experienced significant growth in the medical market, and has successfully implemented the molding of many types of medical devices and testing equipment. We also continue to manufacture components for defense, automotive, musical, and industrial markets, while simultaneously making an effort to expand our market base. Through the implementation of aggressive growth strategies and the use of automation, we’ve continued our fast-paced growth. Since 2008 we’ve averaged 15% year-over-year sales growth while also maintaining our reputation as an industry leader with superior customer service and engineering expertise.
